It uses regex to identify and temporarily replace: numeric citations like [12], author-date citations like (Brown & Smith, 2023), and technical acronyms (PCSK9, LDL-C, ASCVD). These are invisible during rewriting and restored exactly afterward. This is included in Academic mode with the Academic plan.
Pro gives you all 3 modes with unlimited rewrites and 5,000-word limit per rewrite. Academic adds: unlimited words per rewrite, full Guardrail support in Academic mode, batch processing (up to 10 files), and an academic usage disclaimer in your output.
